There has been some road closures need school - school is open as normal and we understand there will be children late this morning, thank you. 

Children take part in weekly sessions of Physical Education. Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit in school.
Please could we remind you that it is essential for all pupils to wear appropriate kit for their PE lessons to ensure personal hygiene and safety.

Well done to all the children who received a special attendance certificate during our achievers assembly on Friday. The certificate was to recognise coming to school everyday during the Autumn Term and achieving 100%!

After school clubs will resume from tonight. (Tuesday 7th January) Tuesdays, Fun and Games club (3:15pm till 4:15pm) Wednesdays, Sports club (3:15pm till 4:15pm) 

A look back at Hawthorns School fantastic Christmas show

Children return to school on Monday 6th January 2020. (2 week holiday) Children can come to school in non school uniform, tomorrow, Friday 19th December. 

    
Thank you to everyone who came and supported Friend of Hawthorns during their Christmas Coffee morning. So far they have raised over £1000. Santa's Grotto photos will be sent home during the last week before Christmas.

Hawthorns School welcomed a new member of staff on Monday 6th December named Dudley. At the moment Dudley is a Therapy dog for staff while he undertakes his training. Once his training is complete he will become a therapy dog for children as well and will be spending time in the classrooms. Until…
