Our Topic

Our current topic is inspired by the characters from the Mr Men and Little Miss books by Roger Hargreaves. Through the stories we will be exploring the different feelings of the characters, what makes them special and how they deal with situations when things go wrong. The children will be encouraged to recognise their own qualities and traits which make them special and appreciate their individuality. Furthermore, we hope to promote emotional well-being and have a positive impact on mental health by providing strategies to cope with difficult feelings and situations they might experience.

Finally, the children will learn about how big life changes impact on feelings and emotions and explore the importance of sharing their thoughts and feelings. Why not check out these websites for some Mr Men fun:
