Each term every class will complete targets on their cookery skills. September term is knife skills. Spring term is mixing, whisking and frying. Summer term is baking and rolling.

The development pf these skills are of age and stage appropriate. Some of the children from our discrete class (Elm, Rowan, Blossom and Buds) have been doing sensory play with ingredients linked to the cookery task. Our younger children in Acorns class have 1:1 cookery sessions to introduce them slowly into cookery.
